Seven years ago, Charlotte changed our lives for the better. She is joyful, determined, loving, and full of personality. Whether she’s playing soccer, helping on our family homestead, making friends, or tackling a new challenge, she approaches life with courage, enthusiasm, and a smile that can brighten anyone’s day.

Charlotte has taught our family so much about perseverance, patience, and celebrating every victory, big and small. Her determination inspires everyone who knows her, and she reminds us daily that obstacles are not roadblocks, but opportunities to grow.

We are participating in the Central Missouri Step Up Walk to celebrate Charlotte and support the Down syndrome community. The advocacy, education, resources, and connections provided through this organization help individuals with Down syndrome and their families thrive.
