Will is the embodiment of “where there’s a Will, there’s a way.” At eleven years old he has battled more than I imagined possible and come out ahead each time. No barrier is too big for this kid! He loves reading, playing outside with his friends and family, digging and building whenever he can, and is a huge fan of movies.
Will has enjoyed the Step Up Walk every year since it came to Columbia. The event itself is a breath of fresh air. It’s a chance to see so many families and friends come together to celebrate their loved ones with Down syndrome, and have an incredible day together. The music gets Will going, the games and activities are always a blast, and the connections are priceless. We can’t wait to see everyone again this year. The money raised helps establish resources in our area that help Will make connections, build skills, and have fun in a safe environment.
