Creating a walk team is the heart of the Step Up for Down Syndrome Walk. Individuals come together as a way to support their friend or family member with Down syndrome.

Teams often stretch beyond immediate friends and family to include neighbors, community organizations, religious groups, civic groups and schools. Regardless of who joins, creating a walk team is an effective way to bring event more awareness and funds to Down Syndrome Innovations.

Creating a team is simply signing up as the team captain or leader of the team. To get started click on this link.

Once the team is created, individuals can sign up to join the team. All registered guests will enjoy the day’s activities. Live music and dancing, bounce houses, games, balloon twisting, face painting, community and much more. Lunch, beverages and sweet treats will be provided & the commemorative Step Up for Down Syndrome Walk T-Shirt are included in the registration fee. 

Please wear your 2025 walk shirt to the event.
